At AllPower we have a wealth of experience and expertise working within the Healthcare sector. Our team have successfully delivered projects for a number of Healthcare trusts and our Directors have personally been involved with the delivery of individual projects for Gloucester hospital, Southmead hospital and the BRI to name a few. We have also provided services for a number of dental practices where the standards are often very similar to those of hospitals.

Our most recent project within this sector was our involvement at Southmead Hospital as main contractor, which entailed the reinforcement of the site low voltage distribution network. This was a particularly challenging project as it involved significant cable runs underground through confined spaces, requiring a great deal of careful planning and co-ordination. Extensive work was required within two feeder pillars to reconfigure the network. This required a high level of expertise from AllPower to ensure the design would work and the client’s requirements could be achieved. This project was a great success and represents a good example of the more complex work AllPower can deliver.

AllPower are experienced enough to know, that within the Healthcare sector, there are a number of different considerations that can all impact on design, installation and commissioning. There are many different systems such as Nurse call, medical gases and UPS back-up systems for critical power to name a few. Hygiene standards are also a major consideration as certain types of material cannot be used in specific areas of medical buildings. AllPower have significant knowledge and experience to assist within any healthcare establishment and ensure that systems are installed to the correct standards for this sector.
